As mozzeno continues to grow, we are looking for a Finance & Administration Manager to strengthen our team. This hands-on operational role focuses on financial administration, accounting, and business planning.
mozzeno launched 8 years ago the first Belgian platform enabling individuals and professionals to indirectly lend money to each other. As a FinTech scale-up, we are redefining lending with our “positive money” vision, using technology to drive responsible financing.
Your Role
As Finance & Administration Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial and administrative tasks, ensuring efficient operations and compliance. Your role is located in Louvain-La-Neuve.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Business administration
- Manage accounting operations (accounts payable/receivable, cash flow, reconciliations) in Winbooks and collaborate with external accountants.
- Support in building strategic business plans, derive yearly budgets therefrom, and ensure monthly monitoring of performance.
- Handle subsidies and R&D tax optimization schemes, identifying and securing relevant opportunities.
- Oversee institutional investors administration, including interest payments, contract renewals, and reporting.
- Follow up on audits, financial compliance, and process improvements.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Support procurement and cost management.
- Oversee payroll administration together with Partena and related benefits (company cars, insurance, cafetariat plan…) with respective partners
- Improve financial controls, reporting systems, and internal procedures.
- Supervise office management
Recovery operations
- Monitor overdue payments and coordinate debt recovery with partners (debt recovery agencies, lawyers and bailiffs)
- Identify opportunities to document and/or automate recovery processes.
Your Profile
- 4-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business control.
- Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in Winbooks or similar accounting software is a plus.
- Exposure to recovery processes is a plus
- Ability to build and monitor budgets and business plans.
- Hands-on, structured, and process-driven mindset with attention to detail.
- Fluent in French or Dutch, with a good working knowledge of English.
